She took ages to find herself, the story in pictures of her epic journey.
As a child, people kept telling Julie Peters she was a boy, and she could never be a girl. She didn't believe them! At first, her quest to become her authentic self, with a coherent identity, was totally undirected and took decades. On her journey she needed to overcome all the negative labels and the mega stress inflicted by wrong puberty.
Along the way she tried showbiz, academia, politics, environmentalism, promoting social justice and equity, becoming an accidental archivist and fashionista. We meet the `personae dramatis’ of her life including family, teachers, nuns, monks, Macbeth’s witches, movie stars, and colleagues.
