Hoping to take the next big step in their life together, two women await the results of a test that could not only put an end to their plans, but perhaps even their relationship.

"As a queer filmmaker, my aim is always to present an entertaining and engaging story, told through queer characters, that is universally relatable. While telling uniquely queer stories is still incredibly important, when it comes to representation I also believe it is fundamentally necessary to tell the queer stories that are the same as everyone else’s stories. At the heart of this film is a relationship between two people who could be any two people. It is important to me to show a couple interacting in a way that all audiences can recognise and relate to, regardless of sexuality, and I’m proud to have achieved that with The Test."
